Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.
Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.
Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls ā which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

Have you checked if theres any updates or letters from EDD in your online account? Sometimes they send important info there and don't bother calling.

Unpopular opinion: maybe try faxing them? I know it sounds ancient, but I've heard some people have had success that way. Might be worth a shot if nothing else is working.

Here's a comprehensive guide for your Paid Family Leave follow-up call: ā¢ Have your claim number ready ā¢ Know your last day worked and first day of leave ā¢ Have your expected return-to-work date on hand ā¢ Keep your doctor's contact information nearby ā¢ Be prepared to explain any changes in your situation ā¢ Have a pen and paper ready to take notes ā¢ Stay calm and polite, even if the process is frustrating ā¢ Ask for a reference number or confirmation of the call ā¢ If possible, try to get the name of the representative you speak with Remember, these calls can take a while, so make sure you're in a quiet place with good phone reception. There is! Go to the EDD website and look for the 'Customer Account' section. You can check your claim status there.

Just went thru this myself. What worked for me was going down to the local office in person. Had to wait in line for a couple hours, but at least I got answers. Might be worth a shot if you're able to do that.
