Have you checked if theres any updates or letters from EDD in your online account? Sometimes they send important info there and don't bother calling.
Pro tip: keep detailed records of all your calls, emails, and submissions. It's saved my butt more than once when dealing with PFL claims. Also, don't be afraid to escalate to a supervisor if you're not getting anywhere with the first person you talk to.
The whole system is a joke. They expect us to wait weeks or months while bills pile up? Something needs to change. 🤬

idk if this helps, but I had a similar issue and it turned out they needed some additional medical info from my doctor. Might be worth checking if there's any paperwork they're waiting on?
