Has anyone tried faxing their documents instead of mailing? I heard it might be faster, but idk if that's just an urban legend lol
PSA: If your claim is related to pregnancy or bonding, make sure you've submitted all the required medical documentation. That can hold things up.
Have you tried reaching out to your unit's admin? Sometimes they can help navigate the bureaucracy or have contacts that can expedite things.
I'm an EDD employee (not in the military department tho). The system is super backed up right now due to budget cuts and staff shortages. My advice: be persistent, document EVERYTHING, and if possible, try to get an in-person appointment at a field office.

OMG THIS IS SO RELATABLE 😭 I've been trying to get my military leave pay sorted for months. EDD is a black hole where claims go to die. Sending you good vibes, hope you get through soon!

Hot take: the whole system is designed to be frustrating so people give up. Stay strong and keep fighting for what you're owed! 💪
