If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

This is why we need to overhaul the entire unemployment system. It's clearly not designed to handle crises or even normal fluctuations in the job market. We're all suffering because of outdated technology and understaffed agencies. 🤬

Totally agree. But good luck getting politicians to care about fixing it until the next crisis hits 🙄

Hey OP, just wondering - did you receive any kind of confirmation when you mailed in your appeal? Might be worth following up if you didn't.

•

No, I didn't get any confirmation. That's part of why I'm so worried. I'll try to follow up somehow. Thanks for bringing that up!

Quick question - when did you initially file your claim? There might be a waiting period before you can request modifications.

I filed about 2 months ago. The extension just came through last week, that's why I need to modify it now.

Ah gotcha. Yeah, you should definitely be able to modify it then. Keep pushing!

Pro tip: if u get through to ANY department, ask them to transfer u to the right one. Sometimes its easier to get through that way

Plot twist: what if you donate the extra money to charity? 🤔 Then technically you didn't benefit from it, right? (I'm joking, don't actually do this without consulting a professional

Anyone else feel like we need a complete overhaul of the whole benefits system? It's 2023 and we're still dealing with these archaic processes smh

For real. My grandma could design a better system, and she still uses a flip phone 😂

Has anyone had experience with reporting income from a side hustle? I started an Etsy shop while unemployed and idk how to handle it

I did some doordash while on unemployment. You gotta report your net earnings (after expenses) each week. It's a pain but necessary

Ugh, sounds complicated. Guess I better start keeping better records 📊

PSA: If EDD overpays you because of a mistake on their end, you can file for a waiver to avoid repaying it. Don't let them bully you into paying if it wasn't your fault!

For real? That's good to know. EDD's always trying to get their money back 🙄

Have you tried logging out and logging back in? Sometimes that fixes weird glitches in the system.

Ugh, I feel for you. I'm in the same boat but with disability. These government systems are held together with duct tape and prayers I swear
