If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Pro tip: if you have a state representative, try contacting their office. They can sometimes expedite claims or at least get you more info.

Wow, I never thought of that. Do you just call their office?

0 coins

Yep! Just google your local rep and give em a call. They usually have staff dedicated to helping with state agency issues.

guys. i literaly just got my payment today after 2 months of waiting. keep ur head up, it'll come eventually!

Did you have to do anything special or did it just show up?

0 coins

honestly, i just waited. called a few times but never got thru. then BAM, money in my account this morning

Unpopular opinion: maybe we should all show up at their office in person. Bet they'd process claims real quick then 😂

lmao imagine the chaos. But fr tho, that might actually work 🤣

Pretty sure they'd just call security on us 🚔

Congrats! That gives me some hope. Did you do anything special to make it happen?

Does anyone know if the process is different for adoptive parents? Asking for a friend

0 coins

The basic process is similar, but you'll need different documentation. Instead of proof of pregnancy, you'll need adoption papers or foster care placement docs. The time frames might be different too.

pro tip: if ur employer has an HR portal, check there for any forms or info specific to your company. some places have their own processes on top of the state requirements

I've had success using their online portal to check my claim status. Have you tried that? Sometimes it's more up-to-date than what the phone reps can tell you anyway.

0 coins

I tried, but it just says 'pending' and has for weeks. That's why I've been trying to call and get more info.

0 coins

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, 'pending' is EDD speak for 'we have no clue what's going on' 🙃

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call early in the morning, like 7:55am 2. Use the comma trick to auto-input your selections (look it up) 3. If you get a message saying they're too busy, hang up and try again 4. Repeat until you get in the queue 5. Once in the queue, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long it takes It took me about 20 tries but I finally got through. Good luck!

What's the comma trick? Can you explain?

0 coins

@profile21 Sure! You add commas and pauses to your phone number so it automatically enters your selections. Like 18003005616,1,,,,,,,,,,,,,2,1. Each comma is a 2-second pause. You'll have to play around with it to get the timing right for the specific menu options you need.

Anyone else feel like were living in a kafka novel? 🤔 The bureaucracy is mind-boggling.

LOL for real. I half expect to wake up as a giant bug at this point. 🐛

Pro tip: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online update. You never know when you might need to prove you've been trying to resolve the issue.
