PFL claim started in December, still no checks received. Anyone else experiencing delays?
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I started my PFL claim back in December and it's been months now, but I still haven't received any checks. Is anyone else experiencing these long delays? It's getting really frustrating and I'm not sure what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been waiting since November and still nothing. It's like they're playing hide and seek with our money š

ā¢Hide and seek? More like they're playing dead š I swear the system is designed to make us give up

ā¢Guys, have you tried calling them? Sometimes that can speed things up

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

ā¢Yeah, it actually does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. Got through in about 2 hours

ā¢I know it sucks to pay, but for me it was worth it to finally get some answers

Here's what I've learned from my experience and research: ⢠PFL claims can take 2-4 weeks to process normally ⢠If there are any issues or missing info, it can take much longer ⢠Always double-check that you've submitted all required documents ⢠Keep copies of everything you send them ⢠If it's been more than 6 weeks, definitely try to contact them ⢠Check your claim status online regularly ⢠Sometimes they send letters asking for more info, so check your mail Hope this helps someone! Hang in there, everyone šŖ

Pro tip: if you can, switch to direct deposit. I did that and started getting payments way faster

ā¢This! š Direct deposit is the way to go. Checks can get lost in the mail too

anyone else notice how they always seem to 'lose' our documents? š¤ I've had to resend stuff like 3 times

Unpopular opinion: maybe we should all show up at their office in person. Bet they'd process claims real quick then š
