PFL Online Registration Keeps Freezing - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble finishing my registration to file for paid family leave. Has anyone else run into issues with the online process? I keep getting stuck and can't seem to complete it. Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain! The registration process is a total nightmare. I spent hours trying to get through it last month. What specific part are you having trouble with?

Thanks for responding! I'm not even sure exactly where I'm getting stuck. The system just keeps freezing up on me. It's so frustrating!

Yeah, that sounds about right. The whole system is a joke. Have you tried using a different browser? Sometimes that helped me when things weren't loading properly.

I haven't tried that yet. Good idea! I'll give it a shot and see if it makes a difference. Fingers crossed š¤

I had the same issue last week! It turns out there was a problem with my account verification. Have you double-checked that all your personal info is correct? Sometimes even a small typo can cause the whole thing to glitch out.

The online registration is such a headache. I ended up having to call them directly to finish my application. It took forever to get through, but at least I got it done. Might be worth a try if you keep having issues online.

Oof, I was hoping to avoid calling. The wait times are insane! But you're right, it might be my only option at this point. How long did you have to wait on hold?

I was on hold for about 2 hours š It was brutal, but I just put it on speaker and did other stuff while I waited. Good luck if you end up having to call!

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without the crazy wait times. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? I'm skeptical about paying for something like that.

I was skeptical too, but I can confirm it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Totally worth the $20 in my opinion.

Interesting! How long did it take for them to call you back once you used the service?

It took about 45 minutes for me, but I've heard it can vary depending on how busy the lines are. Still way faster than waiting on hold yourself!

Pro tip: Try accessing the registration page early in the morning or late at night. The system tends to be less overloaded during off-peak hours. I managed to get through around 6 AM without any issues!

That's a great tip, thanks! I'll set an alarm and try to knock it out first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully the system cooperates š¤

Listen up, folks! I've been dealing with the PFL system for years now, and I've learned a few tricks. Here's a comprehensive guide to getting through the registration process: ā¢ Clear your browser cache and cookies before starting ā¢ Use Chrome or Firefox - avoid Internet Explorer at all costs ā¢ Have all your personal info ready before you begin (SSN, employer details, etc.) ā¢ If you get stuck, try refreshing the page (but not too many times or you might get locked out) ā¢ Take screenshots of each completed page in case you need to start over ā¢ If all else fails, call the support line as soon as they open (usually 8 AM) Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is frustrating, but you'll get through it eventually. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat, OP. Been trying to register for weeks now. This whole system is a joke. How are we supposed to take care of our families when we can't even access the benefits we're entitled to? š¤

Preach! š The government needs to get its act together and fix this mess. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops for basic support.
