EDD only paying for 1 day instead of multiple days claimed - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my unemployment claim. I filed for multiple days but the system is only showing that I'm getting paid for one day. Has anyone else experienced this? I double-checked and the dates are correct, but it's still not reflecting the right number of days. Any advice on how to fix this or who to contact?

Ugh, I've been there. The system is so messed up sometimes. Have you tried calling them? It might be a glitch in their system.

•I've been trying to call all morning but can't get through. It's so frustrating!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I usually have better luck getting through then.

•Calling is useless, I've been trying for weeks 🤬

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a holiday that week and it messed up the system. Did you have any holidays during the period you're claiming?

•No holidays that I can think of. It's just a regular week 🤔

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds sketchy. Is it legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Have you checked your inbox on the unemployment website? Sometimes they send messages about claim issues there and it's easy to miss.

This is a common issue, unfortunately. Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check all your dates again. Make sure you didn't accidentally put the wrong year or something. 2. Look for any pending issues on your claim. Sometimes there's a flag that prevents full payment. 3. If you can't find anything wrong, you'll need to contact them. Try calling early in the morning or late in the afternoon. 4. If calling doesn't work, send a message through the online portal. Be very specific about the issue. 5. As a last resort, contact your local representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get it sorted eventually.

Have you tried updating your claim online? Sometimes that can trigger a review of your case.

This system is so broken. We need to start a petition or something to get them to fix it. Who's with me?
