EDD PFL Claim Delay: Finally Got Through, Any Timeline for Pending Payments?

Congrats on getting through! I've been trying for weeks with no luck. Did they give you any useful info? I'm still waiting on 6 weeks of payments and starting to get desperate 😫

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for months: 1. Keep certifying every week, even if you're not getting paid. 2. Check your online account daily for updates. 3. If you get through on the phone, ask for a ticket number for your case. 4. Document everything - dates you called, who you spoke to, what they said. 5. If you're really stuck, contact your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes expedite things. 6. Be patient but persistent. The system is overwhelmed but they are working through claims.
