Finally got through to EDD and resolved my issue! Any success stories or tips?

Just got off the phone with EDD and it went great! Finally got my issue resolved after weeks of trying. Anyone else have any success stories or tips to share? What worked for you?

Congrats on getting through! 🎉 What was your secret? I've been trying for days and can't even get past the automated system.

Thanks! Honestly, I just kept trying different times of day. Early morning seemed to work best for me. Also, make sure you have all your info ready before calling. Good luck!

Early morning gang rise up! 🌅 I second this, got through at 7:30 AM after trying for weeks.

Ugh, I'm so jealous. Been calling for weeks and nothing. The whole system is a joke tbh 🤡

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to make a phone call? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😤

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Pro tip: If you get a rep who seems clueless, politely ask to speak with a tier 2 specialist. They usually have more authority to fix complex issues.

This! 💯 Tier 2 reps are the real MVPs. They fixed my claim in minutes after weeks of getting nowhere.

Anyone else notice that the EDD website is down... again? 🙄 How are we supposed to check our claim status if the site never works?

Classic EDD. Their tech is from like 1995 I swear

Try using incognito mode or clearing your cache. Sometimes that helps me get in.

I'm in the same boat as OP, finally got through yesterday! Here's what worked for me: - Call right at 8:01 AM - If you get the "too many callers" message, hang up and redial immediately - Use the 2511 number and press 1, then 2, then 4 - Have all your info ready (SSN, claim date, last employer, etc.) - Be super nice to the rep, they deal with angry people all day Hope this helps someone else! Don't give up, you'll get through eventually!

You're a lifesaver! 🙏 Gonna try this tomorrow morning.

What's the full 2511 number? Can you share it?

@profile14 It's 833-978-2511. Good luck!
