SDI Payment Delayed 2 Months - Any Tips to Speed It Up?
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their SDI payment? I've been waiting for 2 months now and still nothing. This is getting ridiculous. How are we supposed to survive without income for so long? Anyone have any tips on how to speed up the process or at least get some answers?

I found a way to solve long SDI payment delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d51T3T2_cT8

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been waiting for 3 months now. It's like they forgot about us or something. 🤦♂️

•3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried calling them? I heard sometimes that helps.

•Yeah, I've tried calling but it's impossible to get through. Always busy or they hang up on me. 😤

•Same here. It's like they're purposely making it difficult for us to get help. 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? How long did you have to wait?

•It does! I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. I only waited about 30 minutes before I got connected to an agent.

•Idk man, paying to get help from a government service we already pay for with our taxes? Seems sketchy.

•I get it, but for me, it was worth the $20 to finally get some answers and move my claim forward. Better than waiting months with no income.

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member? Sometimes they can help push things along.

This is why the system is broken. They make it so hard to get help that people just give up. We need to demand better from our government!

•Preach! 🙌 Maybe we should start a petition or something?

•Good luck with that. They don't care about us little guys. 😒

Here's what I've learned from my experience with SDI: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and interactions with SDI. 2. Send a written appeal if your claim is delayed. Sometimes this can trigger a review. 3. Check your online account daily for updates or requests for additional information. 4. If possible, get your doctor to contact SDI directly about your case. 5. As a last resort, contact your local state representative or senator's office for help. 6. Join Facebook groups or forums dedicated to SDI issues. Sometimes you can get good advice there. 7. Be persistent but polite when you do get through to someone. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but keep fighting for what you're owed.

Have you checked your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there that can help.

•Yeah, I check it daily but it just says 'pending' with no other info. So frustrating!

•Ugh, that sucks. Maybe try the email option? Sometimes you get lucky and get a response that way.

I heard they're super backlogged because of covid. Doesn't make it any easier for us tho 😓

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.
