EDD Payment Delayed: No Response, Can't Reach Anyone. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment payment. It's been a while and I still haven't received it. I'm getting pretty worried. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next? I've already tried calling but it's impossible to get through to a real person.

Ugh, I feel you. The system is so broken rn. I've been waiting for weeks too. It's like they don't even care about us 😤

•Ikr? It's like we're invisible to them. I've been trying to get through on the phone for days. No luck.

•Have you guys tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes they respond faster there.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? That's steep. Is it really worth it?

•I was skeptical too, but I was desperate. It actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•Can you explain more about how it works? Do they just keep calling until they get through?

•Yeah, basically. They have some kind of system that navigates the phone menu and waits on hold. When a real person picks up, it calls you. Beats sitting on hold for hours yourself.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them, including dates and times. 2. Double-check your claim online. Make sure there are no pending tasks or requests for additional information. 3. Try calling right when they open. The lines are usually less busy then. 4. Reach out to your local state representative. They often have contacts in the unemployment office and can help push things along. 5. If all else fails, consider filing an appeal. This can sometimes get your case in front of someone faster. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but you'll get through eventually.

I'm in the same boat. Been waiting for 2 months now. This is ridiculous. How are we supposed to survive?

•2 months?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local news station? Sometimes public pressure helps.

•That's not a bad idea actually. Might give it a shot if I don't hear back soon.

Has anyone else noticed that the website is always "under maintenance" when you try to log in? It's like they're doing it on purpose to avoid paying us 🙄

•Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. Worked for me.
