EDD payments suddenly stopped - no explanation, can't reach anyone. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having issues with my unemployment payments. They've stopped coming in and I'm not sure why. Has anyone else experienced this? I tried calling but can't get through to anyone. Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, same boat here. My payments stopped 3 weeks ago with no explanation. The system is so broken 😤

•3 weeks? Amateur hour. Try 2 months with no income. This state is a joke.

•Have you tried checking your online account? Sometimes there's a message or task you need to complete.

•Yeah, I've checked everything. No new messages, no tasks. It's like they just forgot about me 🤷♂️

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit?

•Totally get the skepticism, but yeah, it's legit. I was desperate and took a chance. Got through in about 2 hours.

•Wait, so you're telling me I can pay to skip the line? How is that fair to everyone else?

•It's not about skipping the line. The service just waits on hold for you. Anyone can still call normally, this just saves you from having to sit by your phone all day.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your online account for any pending tasks or messages 2. Make sure all your certifications are up to date 3. Look for any letters in the mail explaining the stop in payments 4. Try calling early in the morning, right when they open 5. If all else fails, contact your local representative. They can sometimes help push things through Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed but keep at it and you'll get through eventually.

I heard they're doing a system update soon. Maybe wait a few days and see if that fixes anything?

THEN call again immediately it took me 43 tries but i finaly got through. good luck everyone!
