EDD Payment Delay: 2+ Weeks Since Last Payment on 11/13. Anyone Else?
Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated. It's been over two weeks since my last unemployment payment on November 13th, and I still haven't received anything. Has anyone else experienced delays like this? I'm starting to get worried about how I'm going to pay my bills. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated.

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My last payment was on the 10th, and I'm still waiting. It's so frustrating when you're counting on that money to come through. Have you tried calling EDD? I've been trying, but can't get through.

•I've tried calling a few times, but keep getting the busy signal. It's like they don't want us to reach them 🙄

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I managed to get through after trying for days. Good luck!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? That's steep. Is it really worth it?

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. The $20 was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

•I used it too. Felt kinda weird paying to talk to EDD, but man, it saved me so much time and stress.

Have you checked your UI Online account? Sometimes there are hidden messages or requests for additional info that can hold up your payments.

This is ridiculous. The system is so broken. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get the benefits we're entitled to. 😡

•Preach! 🙌 The whole thing needs an overhaul. It's like they're stuck in the 90s or something.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with EDD for months: 1. Always certify on time, even if payments are delayed 2. Check your UI Online account daily for updates or messages 3. If you can't get through on the phone, try contacting them through AskEDD 4. Keep detailed records of all your attempts to contact them 5. If all else fails, reach out to your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes expedite things Hang in there, OP. I know it's tough, but persistence is key with EDD.

•Thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try reaching out through AskEDD. Didn't even know that was an option.

•The assembly member tip is gold. They helped me resolve a 3-month delay last year.

Anyone else notice that delays seem to happen more around holidays? It's like they use it as an excuse to slack off 🙄

Hey OP, have you checked if there were any changes to your claim recently? Sometimes even small updates can cause delays.

•My friend who works for the state mentioned it. Take it with a grain of salt, I guess.
