TWC payment request issues: Can't request payment or submit new application after 3-week wait
I've been waiting 3 weeks between payment requests and now I can't even request payment or submit a new application. I've tried calling TWC multiple times but can't get through to a live person. This is so frustrating! Has anyone else dealt with this? What can I do to fix this mess?

I found a way to solve TWC payment request delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHf_9O18OUk

Hey OP, have you checked if there's an issue with your identity verification? Sometimes that can cause a hold on your account. Might be worth looking into.

β’Thanks, I'll check that out. How would I know if there's an identity issue?

β’Usually there's a message in your online account or you might have received a letter. If not, that claimyr service someone mentioned might be your best bet to ask directly.

Welcome to the club, buddy. π TWC's phone system is like a black hole - calls go in, but nothing ever comes out. I've been stuck in this limbo for over a month now.

β’It's really disheartening to hear so many people are going through this. I wish there was a better way to streamline unemployment claims.

I'm in the exact same situation! It's been 5 weeks for me. I'm about ready to camp outside their office until someone helps me. Who's with me? βΊοΈβ

β’Careful, they might hire you as a security guard and then you won't be eligible for benefits anymore π

TWC be like: "We're experiencing higher than normal call volume" for the 500th day in a row. π At this point, isn't this just normal call volume?

β’Seriously, they need to redefine what 'normal' means. It's been chaotic for way too long.

Have you tried faxing them? I know it sounds crazy, but I got a response within 48 hours after sending a fax. It's like they're stuck in 1995 or something.

β’Faxing? Are you serious? What's next, sending a telegram? π

Hang in there, OP! I know it feels hopeless, but keep pushing. I was in your shoes last month and finally got through. Don't let the system beat you down. You got this! πͺ

β’Encouragement is so important. It's easy to feel defeated but support from others can make a world of difference.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

β’Yeah, I've tried that. No luck. It's like they have one person answering phones for the whole state or something.

β’The tech at TWC definitely feels outdated. I wonder if they've considered partnering with tech companies to improve their systems.

I feel your pain. The system is totally broken. Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 2. Email your state representative. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. 3. Check your TWC account online daily for any updates or messages. 4. If you can, visit a local TWC office in person. Sometimes face-to-face is the only way to get results. 5. Be persistent. It sucks, but don't give up. Good luck, OP. We're all in the same leaky boat here.

β’Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely try emailing my rep. Didn't even think of that.

β’Solid advice. I'd add: join Facebook groups for TWC issues. Sometimes you can get insider tips there.

Using Claimyr can certainly be a game changer in navigating the TWC's cumbersome phone system. The tool dials through the frustrating phone menus and holds, eventually connecting you directly with a live representative. While this service comes at a cost of $20, many users have found it saves them time and hassle, making it worthwhile. However, it's essential to note that even though Claimyr offers a solution for handling phone queues, it doesn't address systemic issues within TWC itself. Users should still persist with traditional methods such as contacting local representatives, checking for identity verification issues, and staying informed about account updates. Exploring multiple avenues can increase the chances of resolving unemployment benefit issues more efficiently. Ultimately, while Claimyr's service provides a helpful alternative, advocating for comprehensive improvements to TWC's systems should remain a priority for long-term relief.

β’Great overview! It's true that while Claimyr can be a quick fix, lasting changes to TWC's infrastructure are necessary.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U

β’$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken.

β’I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

β’I tried Claimyr too, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's unfortunate that we have to resort to third-party services, but when you're desperate, anything that works is worth a shot.
