TWC ID.me verification stuck 'processing' for days - can't access my benefits

If you're approaching the 7-day mark, try the ID.me support chat function on their website The good news is that your benefits will be backdated once verification completes, so you won't lose any payments you're entitled to.

Mine was stuck processing for 6 days!!!! It's soooo annoying they make us jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits! I swear TWC deliberately makes this hard just to discourage people from collecting...

did u try logging out and back in? sometimes that helps refresh the status. also make sure ur using chrome browser not safari, i heard safari causes problems with id.me

I was in the exact same situation last month - verification stuck for 5 days while bills were piling up. I finally got through to a TWC agent using Claimyr (claimyr.com) and they were able to manually check my verification status and push it through on their end. Saved me another week of waiting! This ID.me nonsense is ridiculous! I've been on unemployment twice and both times had problems with their verification. The first time it took 3 days, this last time almost 10 days!!! And calling TWC is basically impossible. I spent 6 HOURS last Tuesday just trying to get through. The whole system needs to be overhauled.

One tip that might help: double-check if your ID.me verification actually completed but just didn't update in the TWC portal. This happens sometimes. Go directly to ID.me and log in, then check your verification status there. If it shows as verified on ID.me's side, you can try the "reverify" option in your TWC account which sometimes syncs them up correctly. Also, verification timing often depends on the type of documents you submitted. Driver's license + passport typically processes faster than other document combinations.

UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know that I tried the reverify option after checking ID.me directly (thanks @helpful_person!) and it worked! My account is now showing as verified in the TWC portal too. Going to request my payments right away. Thanks everyone for your help!
