Approved TWC determination letters but no payment yet - stuck on ID.me verification?

You NEED to do the ID.me verification asap! It won't come as a letter - you have to log into your TWC account online and look for the Action Item there. It should be at the top of your dashboard. If you don't complete the ID.me verification, they won't release any payments no matter how many determination letters you got. I went through this nightmare last month and lost 3 weeks of payments before figuring it out.

The ID.me verification doesn't always come as an action item for everyone. What matters is whether you see a message on your correspondence page saying your identity needs to be verified. When you received your determination letters, did any of them specifically mention identity verification? Also, check your payment status - if it says "pending identity verification" that's your clue. Don't panic yet - this is standard procedure for many claims in 2025.

THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!!!! I got 5 determination letters and still waited 7 WEEKS for payment!!! They claim they're "modernizing" the system but it's WORSE than before. Half the agents don't even know their own rules. And don't get me started on the ID.me garbage - it didn't even WORK with my Android phone and I had to borrow someone's iPhone to complete it. my cousin had this probem...he had to wait like 6 weeks for money even tho he was approved. twc is just slow sometimes, nothing u can do but wait honestly

UPDATE: I completed the ID.me verification yesterday (what a pain - had to do a video call with a person because my driver's license picture was too faded). My TWC account now shows the verification as complete! The agent I spoke with on the ID.me call said it typically takes 3-5 business days for TWC to process the verification and release payments. Thanks everyone for your help figuring this out - I would have been waiting forever since there was no notification about this requirement in any of my determination letters.
