PA UC green progress bar disappeared - tried clearing cache but still missing

Has anyone else had their green progress bar vanish on the PA UC dashboard? Mine disappeared completely last Wednesday and I'm freaking out because I can't see my claim status anymore. Called unemployment on Friday and waited almost 2 hours just to have some rep tell me to 'clear my cache' which did absolutely nothing. I've tried using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, even Edge) and still no green bar. I need to check if my payment processed and can't see anything! Is the system glitching or is it just me? Anyone know how to fix this without the useless 'clear your cache' advice?

Yeah the green progress bar disappeared for me too last week! I thought it was just my computer being weird. Clearing cache didn't work for me either. I ended up having to check my claim status by going through the claims inquiry section instead of relying on the dashboard. Not as convenient but at least you can see your payment status that way.

Thanks for letting me know it's not just me! Where exactly is the claims inquiry section? I've been clicking around everywhere and getting so frustrated.

This is a known system issue affecting multiple users since the last website update. The UC website team is aware of the problem and working on it. In the meantime, you can access your claim information by going to "Claim Status" in the left navigation menu instead of relying on the dashboard progress bar. All your information is still there, just not displaying properly in the visual element.

Thank you!! I was able to find the Claim Status section. Such a relief to know my info is still there. Do you know when they might fix the dashboard?

THEY ALWAYS DO THIS!!! Every time they "update" the website something breaks!!! My bar disappeared too and I spent 3 hours trying different things. The PA UC website is a JOKE. Last year they messed up the weekly certification page and now this. We deserve better!!!

I understand your frustration. If you need to speak with an actual UC representative about this or any other issues with your claim, I recommend Claimyr (claimyr.com). They helped me get through to a PA UC representative in less than an hour when I had an issue with my dashboard displaying incorrectly. There's a video demo showing how it works here: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2

Good to know it might come back on its own. I hope mine does too. The whole system is so stressful to deal with.

Has anyone tried logging in on a mobile phone instead of a computer? Sometimes the mobile view shows different stuff than the desktop version. When my dashboard was acting weird last month I could see everything fine on my phone but not on my laptop.

I just tried this based on your suggestion and it worked for me! The green progress bar is visible on my phone but still missing on my desktop. Weird programming issue but at least there's a workaround. Thanks for the tip!

My cousin works in IT and she says clearing cache only works like 10% of the time when websites have problems. It's just what they tell people to get them off the phone. I had something similar happen last year but it was the blue payment history section that disappeared. They fixed it eventually but took like 2 weeks.

EXACTLY!! It's the standard "turn it off and on again" answer when they don't know how to fix something or don't want to deal with it. Classic PA UC - make us wait weeks for something that should work properly in the first place!

Update: PA UC just posted on their official Twitter that they're aware of the dashboard display issues affecting the progress bars. They expect it to be resolved by next Tuesday's maintenance. In the meantime, all claim information can be accessed through the individual menu options rather than the dashboard.

Thanks for the update! At least they acknowledged the problem. Good to know it should be fixed by next week.
