PA UC payments still showing 'processing' this week - no payment date showing up?
Anyone else stuck with their PA unemployment claim still showing 'processing' status? I filed on Sunday like normal, but usually by Monday afternoon I can see a payment date for Tuesday or Wednesday in my portal. It's already Monday evening and there's still no payment date showing up at all. The system was working fine when I filed yesterday. I know holiday weekends can sometimes delay things, but there's no holiday this week that I'm aware of. Getting a little anxious since rent is due soon. Is the UC system having issues or is it just me?

Mine's still showing processing too! I was just coming here to ask the same thing. I filed Sunday morning and usually see a payment date by now. Tried calling but got the usual busy signal. Starting to get nervous because my car payment is due Friday.

This happens sometimes - there's occasionally a delay in the processing system that affects everyone. I've been on UC for 4 months now and have seen this 2-3 times. Usually resolves itself by Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning at the latest. As long as you were able to file successfully and got your confirmation number, you should be fine. The money might just be a day later than usual this week.

I contacted them last month when this happened and they told me they sometimes do "batch processing delays" that affect everyone in the system. Something about verifying all claims at once instead of as they come in. SUPER frustrating they don't communicate this anywhere though! My claim stayed in processing for an extra 2 days but then the money showed up normal after that. Just delayed from what I was used to.

•Happened to me too, but mine was because an employer contested my claim and they didn't tell me for like a week! I'd try to check if you have any open issues. Sometimes the system won't show them on the main page and you have to click around to find them.

This is a known issue right now. I just got off the phone with PA UC (took forever to get through). The rep told me they're having a system delay affecting a large number of claimants this week. All claims filed this week are being processed correctly but there's a lag in the payment dates showing up in the portal. Payments should still go out on their normal schedule despite what the system is showing. If you don't see a payment by Thursday, that's when you should start investigating further.

•I had the same problem getting through to UC last month when my payments were delayed. Finally used a service called Claimyr that got me connected to a UC agent in about 15 minutes instead of spending days redialing. Totally worth it when you're panicking about missing payments and can't get through on the regular line.

i think its because of the job search requirements. They doing extra checks cuz so many people not doing their work searches right. My buddy got audited last week and they made him prove all his job contacts. Make sure yall keeping records!!!!

**UPDATE: PA UC has now posted on their official Twitter that there was a processing delay affecting claims filed 5/10-5/12. All claims are being processed and payments should appear in accounts on their regular schedule or with a 1-day delay at most. They apologize for the confusion and recommend not calling about this specific issue as it's being resolved system-wide.**
