PA UC 1099-G tax forms missing from Dashboard - where are they actually located?

Hey everyone, I've been waiting for my 1099-G unemployment tax forms to arrive in the mail for weeks now. Getting a bit anxious since it's almost time to file taxes and still nothing! Someone at the tax prep office told me they should be available on my UC Dashboard, but I've looked everywhere and can't find them. I've checked under 'My Benefits Plan' and 'Documents' tabs but no luck. Am I missing something obvious? Does anyone know exactly which tab they're under or how to access them? Really don't want to have to call the UC office since that's always a nightmare. Thanks in advance!

They're actually not under the Dashboard at all - common misconception. You need to go to the PA UC website, log in with your PIN, then click on 'More Services' at the bottom of the main page. From there, select '1099-G Tax Form' and you should be able to access current and previous years. The system was updated in January 2025 and they moved a bunch of stuff around without really telling anyone.

Thank you! I never would have looked under 'More Services' - that's so not intuitive. Will try that right now.

Glad I'm not the only one confused by their weird website layout!

I called them about this yesterday actually. They said they're having some kind of system delay with the 1099s this year and only about 60% have been uploaded to the portal so far. The rest should be there by Feb 11th they said. If you still can't find yours after following what the person above said, that might be why. Also - they said physical copies were mailed out late this year too so might not arrive until mid February.

How the heck did you actually get through to someone on the phone?? I've been trying for 3 days with nothing but busy signals and disconnects.

If you need to reach PA Unemployment quickly about your missing tax forms, I recommend using Claimyr. After trying for days to get through on my own, I used their service and got connected to a UC agent in about 20 minutes. They basically hold your place in the phone queue so you don't have to keep redialing. I was skeptical but it worked really well. You can see how it works in their video demo here: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 and their website is claimyr.com. The agent I spoke with was able to resend my 1099-G forms right away.

Just tried this and it actually worked! Finally got through after a week of trying on my own. The UC rep said there's a glitch affecting some accounts where the 1099s aren't showing up even though they've been generated.

That's a different issue but important to address. If your 1099-G is showing incorrect amounts, you need to request a correction. There's a form specifically for disputing the 1099-G amounts under the same section where you download the form. Look for "Request for 1099-G Correction" link right below where you access the form.

Quick tip: If you're still having trouble accessing your 1099-G form through the website after trying the 'More Services' path, you can also request it by email. Send your full name, last 4 of SSN, and mailing address to UCTax@pa.gov with "1099-G Request" in the subject line. They're usually pretty good about responding within 3-5 business days. Make sure you're using the email associated with your UC account. Also, for anyone worried about filing deadlines - the IRS doesn't penalize you if the delay is caused by a government agency not providing your forms on time. Just keep documentation showing you made reasonable efforts to obtain the forms.

Thank you for this! I found my form using the 'More Services' method, but it's good to know there's a backup option if needed. And thanks for the info about IRS deadlines - that was definitely stressing me out.

I had the EXACT same problem last week! Couldn't find it anywhere on dashboard. Turns out they moved it from where it was last year. The PA unemployment website is such a mess, they keep changing it and nothing is ever where you expect it to be.

UPDATE: I found it! For anyone else looking, it's exactly where @profile2 said - under 'More Services' at the very bottom of the main account page (you have to scroll all the way down), then click on '1099-G Tax Form'. Not intuitive at all. Thanks everyone for your help!
