New York Unemployment ID.me verification done but still no payment after 2 months
Filed for unemployment 2 months ago and verified my identity through ID.me but still haven't received any payments. They keep telling me I need to do ID.me even though I already completed it. Called unemployment 5+ times and two weeks ago they said money would come in 1-2 weeks but still nothing in my account. Anyone else dealing with this or know what to do?

same exact thing happening to me rn. verified through id.me like 6 weeks ago and they keep saying the same thing about needing to verify. its like talking to a brick wall fr 🤦♂️

I found a way to actually get someone helpful on the phone. Used this service called claimyr.com that calls and waits on hold, then connects you when someone picks up. Costs $20 but worth every penny cause I finally got my issue fixed. Check out their youtube video too: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Here's what worked for me with the ID.me issue: First, make sure you've done these steps: - Take screenshots of your completed ID.me verification - Email these to unemployment - Message ID.me support directly through their help center - Try using claimyr.com to get through to a tier 2 agent (they're the only ones who can actually fix verification issues) Took me about 3 weeks but finally got it sorted. Don't give up! 💪

Been dealing with this exact same nightmare for 3 months now! The ID.me verification shows as complete on their end but NY unemployment keeps saying they need it. What's really frustrating is that different reps tell you different things every time you call. One said my case was escalated, another said I needed to redo verification, and the last one couldn't even see my ID.me status in the system. At this point I'm convinced their systems don't talk to each other properly. Definitely going to try contacting my state rep like @Myles Regis suggested - seems like that might be the only way to get real action on this mess.

•@Aisha Abdullah exactly what I m'going through! It s'like their left hand doesn t'know what the right hand is doing. I ve'gotten so many different answers from different reps it s'not even funny. One told me my ID.me wasn t'linked properly, another said it was a system "glitch that" would be fixed in 24-48 hours that (was 3 weeks ago ,)and the last one acted like they d'never heard of ID.me before 🙄 Definitely reaching out to my state rep tomorrow - thanks for backing up that suggestion!
