NY unemployment website down for 2 days - can't access my payment history

Yeah the system has been down for me too. Been trying since thursday morning and keep getting timeout errors. Typical ny unemployment nonsense. Try again later tonight, sometimes it works better at like 2am when less people are on.

I had the same issue but found a solution! After days of getting nowhere with the website, I tried claimyr.com and got connected to an actual person on the phone. Talking to a live agent got my account unlocked and I could access my transcripts again. It was the only way I could actually talk to someone who could help. the website has been complete trash lately. friend of mine couldnt access her stuff either. she had to go to the actual unemployment office in person to get a printout of her payment history. might be worth a try if ur in a rush

This is a known issue right now. The NY unemployment system is doing maintenance that wasn't properly announced. According to their Twitter (which they barely update), it should be back up by tomorrow morning. If you need documentation urgently, you can try calling the alternate number: 888-209-8124 and use the options for technical issues, sometimes that gets you through to a different team.

I've had major problems with the site for the past week. What worked for me was to try accessing from my phone with wifi turned OFF and using cellular data. For some reason that bypassed whatever issue was happening. Give it a shot!

Have u tried logging in thru a different internet connection? Sometimes my home wifi gets blocked but when I use my phone data it works fine. Also clearing browser cookies helped me last time this happened.

Include your name and the last 4 of your SSN. They sometimes respond to these faster than calls. The system is incredibly frustrating but there are ways around it. Hang in there!

Omg I though it was just me!!!! Been trying since yesterday and keeps saying "system unavailable" or some BS. NY unemployment website is literally the WORST government site ever created 🤬

Check if ur using the right link. They changed some URLs recently and the old bookmarks don't work. Go directly to https://unemployment.labor.ny.gov instead of any saved links you have.

Try Internet Explorer if u have it. I know it sounds crazy but their site is so outdated sometimes the newer browsers don't work right with it.

no one knows exactly when the site will be back up. it could be hours or days becuz thats how ny unemployment rolls. ur best bet is to physically visit an office if u need something urgently or use claimyr.com to get ahold of a human. its worth it when ur desperate
