NY unemployment payment not showing up after Sunday certification - anyone else?

This is actually pretty common right now. The NYSDOL system has been experiencing delays since they updated their payment processing system last month. I certified Sunday too, and mine just appeared about an hour ago. Give it until end of day - it should show up. If not, tomorrow morning at the latest. The funds usually still hit your account or debit card on the normal schedule even if the payment history is slow to update.

I had the exact same issue back in February. Certified on Sunday but nothing showed in payment history until Tuesday morning. The money still arrived in my account Wednesday though, so the actual payment wasn't delayed even though the website wasn't updated. The NYSDOL system has been having a lot of technical glitches since they migrated to their new platform in January 2025. If it doesn't show up by tomorrow and you want peace of mind, I'd recommend calling to verify everything is okay with your certification.

same here... waiting on my payment to show up too! 3rd week in a row the website is acting up something is definitely wrong with there system!

There was actually a notice about this on the NYSDOL website last week. They're doing some system maintenance that might cause delays in the payment history updates, but they specifically stated it wouldn't affect actual payment processing times. I screen-grabbed it because I knew people would start panicking: "NOTICE: NYSDOL will be performing system updates from April 14-18, 2025. During this time, payment history information may be delayed in appearing on your account. This will NOT affect payment processing or deposit times. We appreciate your patience."

I had this SAME problem last week! I tried calling for TWO DAYS straight and couldn't get through to anyone. Just kept getting the 'high call volume' message and disconnected. I was seriously stressed out since I need that money for bills. My payment finally showed up on Tuesday evening and the money was in my account on Wednesday like normal. The system is so broken!!!

my cousin works for the state (not unemployment but diff dept) and she said there doing a big computer upgrade and lots of things r messed up right now

Just a quick update - it looks like they might be updating in batches. Several people in my local unemployment Facebook group reported their payment histories updated around 2pm today. Might be worth checking again if you haven't in the last hour or so.
