Missing $350 extra NY unemployment payment that should run until Sept 2025 - anyone else?
I'm really confused and worried. I just received my regular NY unemployment payment today but the extra $350 supplement wasn't included! I thought this supplemental benefit was supposed to run until September 5th, 2025. Did anyone else have their extra payment missing this week? Is this happening to everyone or just me? I was counting on that money for rent next week. Anyone know what might have happened or who I should contact? The website doesn't show any alerts or notices about changes.

Same thing happened to me!! My regular payment came through yesterday but no supplemental payment. I checked my payment history and the last 8 weeks showed both payments, but this week only the base amount. Super frustrating since I budgeted expecting both.

There was an announcement about this on the NYSDOL website last week. The supplemental benefit program is experiencing a temporary processing delay due to system updates. They're saying payments should resume next week and will include retroactive amounts for any missed weeks. You don't need to do anything special - just keep certifying as normal.

I DID get my supplement payment though? Mine came through at the regular time yesterday with both amounts. Now I'm worried something's wrong with my account if others aren't getting theirs... After 4 hours of calling today, I finally got through to someone at NYSDOL by using Claimyr.com - it got me past the busy signals and connected me with an agent in about 20 minutes. The agent confirmed what others here said about the system update causing payment delays. She said all affected accounts should see the supplemental payment by Tuesday next week, with no need to take any action. This is typical NYSDOL incompetence!! They NEVER give proper notice when these things happen. Last year they did the same thing with the dependent supplement payments and people were freaking out. And then they expect us to just wait patiently when our bills are due NOW. I'm so tired of this broken system.

my friend works for nysdol and she told me its actually cuz they found a bunch of fraud in the system and are doing extra verification on all accounts this week. some ppl might not get the supplement anymore if their account gets flagged
