YES this happened to me too! No $300 extra on my payment yesterday and I'm panicking. Was counting on that money for my car insurance due next week. No warnings, no emails, nothing in my CONNECT inbox. Is the program over or something??

The Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) program that adds the $300 weekly benefit has specific end dates set by legislation. In 2025, the current supplemental program is scheduled to phase out on April 15th. Check your CONNECT portal for any notices under the 'Determination, Pending Issues and Decision Summary' section - there might be information there about why your payment changed. Also make sure you've completed all required work searches (5 per week in Florida) as missing those can affect all benefits.

From what we can figure out, there was a glitch in the DEO system that affected the federal portion of payments processed between 2/28-3/1. Some people who called (and actually got through) were told it will be added to the next payment cycle as a retroactive amount. Check if your payment status shows 'partial' instead of 'paid' in your CONNECT account - that's what most people are seeing. If you need to speak with someone, I'd recommend using Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through to a DEO agent quickly. my cousin works for deo and he said its a computer problem their system got updated last weekend and messed up the federal part. they know about it and fixing it now but u might need to wait till next payment

I KNEW IT!!! Another DEO disaster!!! I don't understand how they can be so incompetent ALL THE TIME!!!! Every single update they do breaks something else. My kids need groceries NOW not in 2 weeks when they decide to fix their broken system. I've been on hold for FOUR HOURS today!!! And guess what happens when you finally get through? THEY HANG UP ON YOU!!! This is criminal!!!!!

Had similar thing happen last year when they updated the CONNECT system. The money showed up a week later without me doing anything. DEO gonna DEO 🙄

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with a DEO agent (was able to get through using Claimyr). They confirmed it's a system-wide issue affecting the federal $300 payments and they're pushing out a fix. The agent told me all affected claimants should see the missing federal portion deposited separately within 3-5 business days. If you don't see it by next Friday, they recommend calling to check on your specific claim.
