My $300 federal boost missing from ny unemployment payment this week - still supposed to run til Sept

Same thing happened to me! Got my regular $190 payment yesterday but no federal $300 supplement. It's never been late before. Been trying to call since yesterday morning but always get the automated message saying high call volume. Really freaking out since I need that money for bills due next week.

After getting nowhere for 2 days trying to call, I finally tried this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) and it was literally the only way I managed to talk to a real person. Just called and got through after 35 tries 😩 They said there's a SYSTEM-WIDE DELAY with the federal supplement this week. The money will be coming separately in the next 2-3 business days. Just FYI for everyone panicking!

Everyone CHILLLLL... this happens sometimes. The $300 federal unemployment boost often comes a day or two after the regular payment. Id wait til Friday before panicking. The federal money comes from a different pot than the state money so sometimes there are delays.

Alright so I did some research and spoke to a rep today. Here's what's happening with the missing $300 payments: There was a processing delay at the federal level this week that affected multiple states, not just NY. The funds should be released within 72 hours according to the rep I spoke with. You DO NOT need to file any additional claims or certifications. Some people may see the money hit their accounts tomorrow, others might not see it until early next week. It depends on your bank's processing time. If you absolutely need to reach someone at unemployment (which can be nearly impossible), I've found claimyr.com to be the only reliable way to get through. They call and wait on hold for you, then connect you when an agent is ready. Saved me hours of frustration. The $300 federal supplement IS still continuing until Sept 4th as originally planned. check your payment history on the website! mine shows the $300 as "pending" with tomorrow's date. the regular unemployment payment processed normally but the federal supplement is coming separately.

this is exactly why i hate depending on unemployment... they never communicate about changes or delays and expect us to just figure it out or spend hours trying to call them. So tired of this broken system.

Guys is there any chance this means the federal supplement ended early?? My cousin in Florida said they stopped getting it already even though it's supposed to go till September

PSA: If u need to speak to an actual person at unemployment and cant get through, theres a service called claimyr.com that will keep calling for you and connect you when they reach someone. just used it today and finally got my issue fixed after weeks of trying myself.

For those who aren't seeing the federal payment yet - I just spoke to a tier 2 specialist (took forever to get transferred to one). They confirmed there was a payment system issue that affected people who certify on Sundays specifically. They're releasing all payments by Friday. If you still don't see it by Monday, then call.

Check the news! Just saw on channel 4 that there's a technical glitch with the $300 payments affecting multiple states. NY labor department said all payments should be processed by end of week. No need to call or do anything.
