Yeah the $300 federal boost is done. Ended September 5. You just keep certifying like normal to get your regular state benefit. Nothing changes with your claim process.

The federal $300 was always temporary, congress didnt renew it. Keep claiming like normal for your base benefit. If your benefit year ends (usually 12 months from when you first applied) THEN you need to file a new claim.

They basically wait on hold for you and call when someone picks up. Talking to a live agent is the ONLY way to resolve most issues - the website and automated system are useless for anything complicated. Don't waste weeks trying to get answers like I did. Different programs ended at different times. The $300 FPUC boost ended 9/5. If you were on regular UI, you keep getting your base amount. If you were on PUA or PEUC, that all ended too. Most people are SOL now unless Congress does something.

It depends what kind of claim you're on. The federal $300 supplement is definitely over. But if ur on regular UI you keep getting your base amount til your benefit year ends. If ur on PEUC or PUA those programs ended completely.

Just 2 clarify - the $300 ended, the extended weeks programs ended, but REGULAR unemployment continues if ur still in ur benefit year. Just keep certifying! No need to refile unless specifically told to on the website.

FYI the New York unemployment site is absolute TRASH at explaining any of this. It's like they don't want us to understand what's happening. Keep certifying weekly and you'll get your regular amount minus the $300.

This whole system is designed to confuse people to the point they give up. Keep claiming your regular benefits and document EVERYTHING in case they try to come after you later saying you shouldn't have been claiming.

All the pandemic extra $ is gone. UI just went back to what it was before - your regular weekly benefit amount. Keep certifying like normal. Nothing else changes.
