I'm getting confused about the current unemployment benefit amounts in New York. I keep hearing people talk about extra money but I'm not sure what's available now in 2025. My regular NYS Department of Labor weekly benefit is $504 but I thought there might be additional assistance available? Can someone explain what extra unemployment benefits are currently being offered and how long they last? I filed my claim 3 months ago and just want to make sure I'm getting everything I'm entitled to.

yeah those extra payments were only during covid times, they're long gone now. you might be thinking of the FPUC which was the extra $600 then later $300 per week but that all ended in september 2021. regular unemployment is all we get now
