DEO didn't include $300 Federal boost with this week's benefit payment - anyone else?

I just got my regular unemployment payment yesterday but no sign of the $300 federal supplement that's supposed to be added. My CONNECT account only shows the standard state benefit amount ($275) hitting my account. Has anyone else had this issue with this week's payment? I rely on that extra money for rent. Should I call DEO or wait a few days to see if it comes separately?

Mine just came through but it was delayed like 2 days after my regular payment. Maybe yours is just running behind?

Thanks for the info! I'll wait a couple more days before panicking. Did your CONNECT account show both payments or just the regular one?

The $300 federal supplement is NOT automatic with every DEO payment. It has to be authorized each week separately from your regular state benefits. There's been an ongoing issue with the system not properly linking some claims to the federal program. If you don't see it pending in CONNECT under 'Payment History' within 3 business days of your regular payment, you should definitely contact DEO to have them check your claim's federal payment status. This has been happening to several people I know.

Oh great, more DEO problems! I don't see anything pending under Payment History for the federal part. Guess I'll have to call... which means days of busy signals 😫

Try clicking on the individual week claimed in your payment history. Sometimes the $300 shows up there but not on the main screen for some reason. The CONNECT system is such a mess!!

I had this exact problem last month. The regular payment came through but the $300 federal supplement was missing for 2 weeks straight. I spent HOURS trying to reach DEO with no luck - constant busy signals and disconnections. I finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through to a live agent. They have this system that basically holds your place in line and calls you when an agent is available. Saved me days of frustration. The agent was able to see that my claim had a 'federal payment flag' that needed to be removed. Got my missing payments within 48 hours after that call. You can see how it works in their video: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj

I've never heard of that service before but I'm desperate at this point. Did they ask for a bunch of personal info? I'm always nervous about those kinds of services.

They just need your phone number so they can call you back when it's your turn with a DEO agent. It basically just helps you skip the busy signal nightmare. Once you're connected, you're talking directly to DEO, not to Claimyr. It's what finally fixed my missing payments issue.

THE DEO IS DELIBERATELY DELAYING FEDERAL PAYMENTS!!! This is like the 5th post I've seen about this problem this week alone. They're hoping people won't notice or won't bother to follow up so they can keep the money. I had to call 46 TIMES before getting through last month when they pulled this same trick. When I finally talked to someone they acted like it was just some random \

i dont think theyre doing it on purpose tbh... the system is just old and breaks all the time. my cousin works in IT and says the DEO computers are like from the stone age lol

Has anyone had success getting retroactive $300 payments? Mine didn't come through for 3 weeks in January but I finally got through to DEO yesterday. The agent said they'd

Yes, you should absolutely receive retroactive payments if you were eligible during those weeks. After they fix the issue, the backpay typically comes in a separate lump sum payment within 5-7 business days. Make sure you get a confirmation number for your request and follow up if you don't see it by next week. The key is documenting everything - note the date/time of your call and the agent's name.

this happened 2 me last week, the 300 showed up 3 days after my regular payment. DEO is always so slow with everything!! btw does anyone know if we have to do work searches for the federal money too or just for the state part?? im confused

Work search is for the entire claim - you don't do separate work searches for state and federal parts. It's all considered one benefit for work search purposes.

That's good to hear! I'll definitely call tomorrow if mine doesn't show up. It's ridiculous we have to chase down money we're entitled to.
