DEO payment split issue - Regular UI processed but FPUC $300 missing?

Just checked my CONNECT account and something weird is happening with my payments. My regular base unemployment was processed on Tuesday (June 2) but there's no sign of the $300 FPUC supplement anywhere in the system! Has this happened to anyone else? I claimed my weeks yesterday, and for the last month both payments (regular + FPUC) have been showing up together like clockwork every Friday. Getting really worried since I budgeted for the full amount. Is DEO processing these separately now or is this a glitch?

Mine is doing THE EXACT SAME THING!!! Regular payment processed but nothing about the $300! Ive been getting both together for months and now suddenly the $300 is MIA. This DEO system is such garbage, I swear they do this on purpose to mess with us.

Ugh, glad it's not just me but sorry you're dealing with it too. Have you tried calling to ask what's going on? I'm wondering if it's a system-wide issue or just random accounts getting affected.

There was a notification on CONNECT last week saying they're temporarily processing the regular UI and FPUC separately due to some system maintenance. The $300 payments are supposed to come 2-3 business days after your regular payment. I got mine yesterday, about 48 hours after my base amount. Check your payment history tomorrow - it should show up.

Seriously? I must have totally missed that notification. Thanks for letting me know! That makes me feel a lot better. I'll keep an eye on it tomorrow then.

RIGHT?! It's like they ENJOY making this process as confusing and stressful as possible!

The DEO is experiencing some payment processing delays right now according to their Twitter account. They're temporarily separating the regular UI payments from FPUC supplements to ensure at least your base payment isn't delayed. Your $300 should appear in 2-4 business days, but if it doesn't show up by Monday, you should contact them. If you need to reach a DEO agent directly about this (which I recommend if it doesn't show by Monday), I used Claimyr last month when my payments were stuck in pending status. It got me through to an actual DEO agent in about 20 minutes instead of spending hours redialing. Their site is claimyr.com and they have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj

Thanks for the thorough explanation. I don't check their Twitter so I had no idea! I'll give it until Monday before panicking. And thanks for the Claimyr tip - I might try that if the payment doesn't show up. The thought of spending another day constantly redialing DEO makes me want to scream.

This is correct. The DEO has been having database maintenance issues that are causing payment processing delays. The federal supplement payments (FPUC) are being processed on a separate batch schedule from regular state benefits. Be sure to check both your CONNECT account AND your bank account, as sometimes the payment will hit your bank before it shows as processed in CONNECT.

I'm having the EXACT opposite problem! My $300 FPUC came through yesterday but my regular UI is still showing as "pending" in CONNECT. Made me wonder if they've started processing them separately. The whole thing is so confusing. Did you get an action item or anything in your inbox about it?

No, nothing in my inbox at all! That's so strange that you're having the opposite issue. Definitely makes it seem like they've changed something in their system. Let me know if your regular payment comes through!

Anyone else notice that CONNECT is doing maintenance AGAIN this weekend? Maybe that's related to all these weird payment splits. I swear that system is held together with duct tape and prayers.

Yes, they're doing database maintenance from Friday 8pm to Monday 5am. It was announced in the System Availability section. This is actually the third weekend in a row they've had to do these upgrades. The payment processing issues are related to their database migration project that started last month.

UPDATE: My $300 just hit my account this morning! It's showing in my bank but still doesn't appear processed in CONNECT. So weird, but at least I got it. Seems like they really are processing them separately now.

Glad to hear it worked out! The CONNECT system often lags behind actual payments by 1-2 days. They're supposed to fix this display issue with the upcoming system upgrades, but we'll see if that actually happens. Florida's unemployment system has needed a complete overhaul for years.
