DEO PUA payment only shows $113/week - where's the $600 FPUC boost?
Just got approved for PUA benefits after waiting for almost 2 months (filed March 12th). I finally see my account showing payments, but it's only $113 per week backdated to when I applied. Shouldn't I be getting the additional $600 FPUC payment too? My CONNECT dashboard doesn't show anything about the extra $600 anywhere. Is this normal or did something go wrong with my claim? I'm a gig worker and this is my first time dealing with unemployment. Super confused and starting to worry because bills are stacking up fast.

The $600 is paid separately from your regular benefits. It won't show on your CONNECT determination page, but you should receive it automatically for any week you get at least $1 in regular benefits. Look at your payment history screen - there should be two separate deposits for each week, one for your $113 PUA and another for $600 FPUC. If you're only seeing the $113 payments so far, the $600 payments might be processed a few days later. This is pretty normal with DEO's system.

•Thank you!! I checked the payment history screen and you're right - I only see the $113 payments processed yesterday. So I should just wait a few more days to see if the $600 payments show up? I'm so relieved to hear this is normal.

The $600 is supposed to come auto but DEO system is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!! I had same issue last month and had to call 78 TIMES before getting thru to someone. They told me there was a "flag" on my account preventing the $600 payments even though my regular benefits were processing fine. Had to wait another 3 weeks for them to fix it! RIDICULOUS! Check if there are any "pending issues" on your account.

I work as an unemployment advisor and see this question frequently. Here's how the FPUC $600 works with PUA in Florida: 1. The payments are processed separately and often on different schedules 2. The $600 payments typically come 2-5 days after your base PUA payment 3. You'll get the $600 for any eligible week from April 5th through July 31st, 2025 4. The FPUC payment won't show on your determination screen - only in payment history If you don't see the $600 payments showing up in your payment history within 5 business days of receiving your PUA payment, there might be an issue requiring DEO attention. Check your "Determination, Pending Issues and Decision Summary" page for any flags.

•This is super helpful, thank you! I don't see any pending issues on my account. I'm going to wait the 5 business days before panicking. Should I keep claiming weeks as normal in the meantime?

I had the EXACT same problem last month with my PUA claim. The $113 showed up but no $600 payments. I tried calling DEO for days but couldn't get through - constant busy signals and disconnects. I ended up using Claimyr (claimyr.com) and got connected to a DEO agent in about 20 minutes. They found my $600 payments were stuck in a verification queue and fixed it right away. Might be worth checking out their video demo: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj if you can't get through on your own after trying for a few days.

•You're right - the original FPUC $600 was a COVID program. For clarity to everyone reading this thread, the current Florida unemployment system does NOT include the extra $600 FPUC in 2025. The system now only provides regular state unemployment benefits with a maximum of $375 weekly. Any references to PUA or FPUC in this thread would be applicable only to backdated claims from the pandemic period being processed now, not for new claims.

Update: The $600 payments just showed up in my payment history today! 4 days after the regular payments appeared. All is well and I'm so relieved. Thanks everyone for your help and advice!

•Great news! Glad it worked out without needing to contact DEO. The system is working as designed in your case, just with the usual delays. Make sure to keep claiming your weeks on schedule to avoid any interruptions in your benefits.

•Thanks for the heads-up, but looks like mine was just delayed. My payments are showing correctly now. Hope your sister got her situation sorted out!
