Approved for Unemployment Since June 2024 But Haven't Received Any Payments - 104 Effective Days Remaining with No Backpay Yet

I've been approved for unemployment since June 17, 2024 and still haven't gotten any payments. My weekly benefit amount is $141.00 with a maximum amount payable of $3,666.00. My claim shows I still have 104 effective days remaining, but nothing has been paid out to me yet. According to my Department of Labor Official Record of Benefit Payment History for my current claim, my Start/Effective Date is 06/17/2024 with a Benefit Year Ending Date of 06/22/2025. The latest transaction as of 01/03/2025 shows that I last certified for benefits for the week ending 12/29/2024. My unpaid waiting period was processed on 06/27/2024. I notice there's information about weekly payments for $600 showing "0" under the "Effective Days" column, and Debit Card or Direct Deposit under the "Type" column, which are apparently the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) payments. The system explains that each day in a week (Monday through Sunday) that I qualify for benefits is called an effective day. Anyone know if I'll get backpay for all these months since June? I've been certifying regularly but haven't received a single payment despite showing eligibility. First time filing for unemployment and I'm totally lost about what's happening with my claim.

same boat here friend. Been waiting since August and nothing but radio silence from them. Keep certifying every week tho, thats what everyone says to do 🤷‍♂️

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone using claimyr.com. It costs $20 but they dial and wait on hold, then connect you when a real person picks up. Worth every penny tbh, got my backpay situation sorted in one call. Check out their demo: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Listen up because this is important for backpay claims: First, YES you will get all your backpay from your claim effective date IF you've been certifying weekly. Here's what you need to do: 1. Keep certifying every single week without fail 2. Make sure your ID verification is complete 3. Check if you have any outstanding questionnaires 4. Try reaching them through their social media 5. If you cant get through on phones, use claimyr.com - worth the $20 I work in HR and see this all the time. Don't give up, the money will come eventually. Document everything and save your certification confirmations.

Hey NebulaNova! I went through almost the exact same thing last year - approved in July but didn't see a penny until November. Turns out there was an identity verification issue they never told me about. Here's what finally worked for me: 1. Log into your account and check if there's any pending correspondence or questionnaires 2. Look for any "eligibility review" notices 3. Make sure your direct deposit info is correct 4. Call the claims center early morning (like 8:01 AM sharp) The good news is YES you'll get all your backpay once they resolve whatever's holding it up. I got like $2,800 dropped into my account all at once. Keep certifying every week no matter what - that's super important for getting your full backpay. Don't give up, you're not alone in this! 💪
