UI System Says I Certified for 7/28 Benefits But Payment Released on 7/29 Not Showing in Payment History

I certified for my benefits yesterday but it's not showing up in my transactions. The system is telling me I already claimed for the week, but when I check my payment history there's nothing there. According to my UI account page, under "Latest Transaction(s) as of 08/06/2024", it says I last certified for benefits for the week ending 07/28/2024, and that my payment for the week ending 07/28/2024 was released on 07/30/2024. But I don't see this payment anywhere in my payment history. The page shows information about weekly payments for $700 showing "0" under the "Effective Days" column, and Debit Card or Direct Deposit under the "Type" column, which are supposedly the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) payments. There's also this explanation about Effective Days that says: "Each day in a week (Monday through Sunday) that you qualify for benefits is called an effective day. There is a maximum of 4 effective days each week, and you must qualify for all 4 effective days in order to receive your total weekly benefit rate. For each day in the week that you are not eligible to receive benefits, you will receive one less effective day, which is equivalent to one fourth of your weekly benefit rate. For example, if you are not available to work one day in a week, or if you have worked any part of a day, or have received vacation or holiday pay for one day in a week, your benefits will be reduced by one effective day (the same as one-quarter of your benefit rate). You can receive a maximum of 104 effective days on your claim." But this doesn't explain why my latest certification isn't showing up. Anyone else experiencing this issue or know what's going on? I'm starting to worry my payment won't come through.

This happened to me last month. The system is super glitchy lately and sometimes takes 24-48 hours to show up in your payment history. Give it a day or two before panicking 👍

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone about this. Used this site called claimyr.com - they dial through the phone menu and wait on hold, then call you when someone picks up. Costs $20 but worth it imo. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

sounds kinda sus ngl. they actually helped you get through?

yeah fr it worked. got through in like 45 mins instead of calling all day

$20 tho? 🤔 thats steep

DETAILED SOLUTION FOR TRANSACTION ISSUES: If you're having issues with transactions not showing up, here's what you need to know: - First, wait 48 hours. The system often has delays - Check that your claim wasn't flagged for identity verification - Make sure you answered all weekly questions correctly - If nothing shows up after 48 hours, you NEED to speak with an agent Best way to reach them: 1. Use claimyr.com to get through (costs money but works) 2. Call right when they open at 8am 3. Keep detailed records of your certification dates Remember: screenshots of everything! The system is overwhelmed and glitchy rn

Had this exact same issue last week! The system showed I certified but nothing in payment history for like 3 days. Turns out there was some backend processing delay on their end. Finally showed up on day 4 with the correct date. The NY DOL system has been having major issues lately - I think they're doing system updates or something. Keep checking every day and definitely take screenshots like others said. If it's still not there after a week then definitely call or use that claimyr thing people mentioned.

this is reassuring to hear! day 4 seems like a long time but at least it showed up eventually. definitely gonna keep checking and taking screenshots. appreciate you sharing your experience 🙂

Just wanted to add that I had a similar issue a few weeks ago where my certification showed up but the payment was delayed by almost a week. What helped me was logging into the mobile app vs the website - sometimes one shows updated info before the other. Also try clearing your browser cache if you're using the website. The system definitely has sync issues between what shows on the main dashboard vs the detailed payment history. Don't stress too much, payments are still going through just with delays!

great tip about checking the mobile app vs website! i've been only using the browser so maybe that's why i'm not seeing updates. gonna try clearing cache and downloading the app too. thanks for the heads up about the sync issues - makes me feel way better knowing this is a known problem and not just me 😅

This is so frustrating but you're definitely not alone! I've been seeing this issue pop up more and more lately. The NY DOL system seems to be having major backend issues - probably from all the system updates they've been doing. What worked for me was checking both the website AND the mobile app because sometimes they show different info. Also try logging out completely and logging back in. Sometimes that forces a refresh of your data. One thing I noticed is that the "Latest Transaction(s)" section updates faster than the actual payment history, so if it says your payment was released on 7/30, it's probably legitimate even if it's not showing in the history yet. Definitely keep those screenshots though! And if it's still not there by Monday, I'd call first thing at 8am or try that claimyr service people mentioned. The delays are real but payments are still going through eventually.

thanks for all the detailed info! yeah this whole situation has been super stressful. i tried logging out and back in but still nothing showing in payment history. gonna try the mobile app like you and others suggested - didn't even know there was one tbh. really hoping it shows up by monday cause rent is due soon 😰 appreciate everyone sharing their experiences, makes me feel less crazy knowing this is happening to others too

I had this exact same thing happen to me about 2 weeks ago! Super nerve-wracking when you're depending on that money. In my case, the certification showed up immediately but the payment history took almost 5 days to update. What's weird is that the money actually hit my account on day 3, even though the website still said nothing was there. I think there's definitely some kind of database sync issue going on with their system. The "Latest Transactions" section seems to pull from a different database than the actual payment history page, which is why you're seeing the contradiction. My advice: check your bank account/debit card even if the website doesn't show it. And if you have direct deposit, sometimes the money shows up before the website updates. The NY DOL system has been super glitchy lately - I've heard they're doing major system upgrades which is causing all these delays and sync issues. Hang in there, the payment will likely show up soon! 🤞

omg this gives me so much hope! 🙏 i haven't checked my actual bank account yet because i was so focused on the website not showing anything. gonna check right now - maybe the money is already there like you said. this whole system is such a mess but at least knowing other people went through the same thing and got their payments eventually makes me feel way better. thanks for sharing your experience!

Just went through this exact same thing last month! The NY DOL system has been having major sync issues between their databases. What I learned is that the "Latest Transactions" section and the payment history pull from different systems, so you'll often see discrepancies like this. Here's what helped me: 1. Check your actual bank account/card - sometimes the money hits before the website updates 2. Try both the website AND mobile app - they sometimes show different info 3. Clear your browser cache and log out/back in 4. Give it 3-5 business days total In my case, the money actually appeared in my account on day 3 even though the website didn't update until day 6. The system is definitely overwhelmed right now with all their backend upgrades. Don't panic - if it says payment was released on 7/30 in your Latest Transactions, that's usually accurate even if the history page hasn't caught up yet. Keep taking screenshots of everything though, just in case you need to call later!

this is super helpful, thank you! i just checked my bank account and the money actually IS there even though the website still shows nothing 😅 you're totally right about the sync issues - it's wild that the payment went through but the website is still blank. definitely gonna keep taking screenshots of everything just in case. thanks for breaking down the timeline too, makes me feel way less stressed about this whole mess!

This is such a common issue right now! I've been helping my neighbor deal with the same exact problem for weeks. The NY unemployment system has been super unreliable lately - seems like they're constantly doing maintenance or updates that mess with the sync between different parts of their database. What I've noticed is that the payment release dates are usually accurate even when the payment history is blank. If your "Latest Transactions" section says payment was released on 7/30, that's probably legit. The backend processing just takes forever to update all their different systems. A few things that might help while you wait: - Check your bank/card balance directly instead of relying on the website - Try logging in at different times of day (sometimes updates happen overnight) - Keep refreshing both the regular site and mobile app if you have it - Document everything with screenshots for your records I know it's scary when money is tight, but from what I've seen, the actual payments are still going through even when the website is acting up. Most people I know have gotten their money within 3-5 days of the "release" date, regardless of what the payment history shows. Hang in there! 💪

this is exactly what i needed to hear right now! been super stressed about this but your breakdown makes so much sense. just checked my account and like others said, the money is actually there even though the website shows nothing 🎉 it's crazy how broken their system sync is but at least the payments are still processing. thanks for taking the time to explain everything and for helping your neighbor too - people like you make these stressful situations so much easier to deal with!
