DEO CONNECT benefit deposit missing - regular payments stopping before June 26th?
I was blindsided this morning when I checked my bank account. The regular weekly payment from DEO didn't show up, and I was counting on it for bills. I thought all Florida unemployment benefits were continuing through June 26th, 2025? My claim is still active in CONNECT and everything looks normal when I log in. Did anyone else miss their payment today? I'm freaking out because I have rent due next week and was depending on this. Is there a holiday delay or something going on with the system?

same thing here, no $$ in my account this morning. called the 800 number and it just says my claim is 'active' but nothing about why payment is missing

•At least I'm not the only one! Did you try sending a message through CONNECT? I tried but the message system is giving me an error.

Quick heads up - check your CONNECT account under 'View and Maintain Account Information' and then 'Payment History.' The regular state benefits (max $375/week) continue based on your eligibility period, but any federal supplements would have different end dates. If you exhausted your benefit weeks or hit your maximum benefit amount, payments would stop regardless of that June date you mentioned. The determination letter shows your maximum weeks and benefit amount.

•Thanks, I checked and it says 'payment in process' with today's date but status 'pending resolution of issue.' There's nothing in my Inbox about what the issue is though? I still have 8 weeks of benefits left according to my account.

This sounds like you might have triggered a claim-specific issue that requires adjudication. When CONNECT shows 'pending resolution of issue' it means something flagged your claim for review. Common triggers include: 1. A new employer reported wages during your benefit period 2. You answered a weekly certification question differently than usual 3. You missed submitting your work search activities 4. Your claim hit the quarterly wage review period 5. Someone reported potential fraud on your claim Unfortunately, when claims enter adjudication, payments stop until a DEO agent reviews your case. The system won't tell you what the specific issue is until after review.

•This is really helpful, thank you! I did answer the available for work question differently because I had a doctor's appointment one day. Do you know how long adjudication typically takes? I can't afford to wait months.

I went through this exact thing in February. The only way I finally got it resolved was using Claimyr to get through to a real DEO agent (claimyr.com). They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj. Instead of calling for hours and getting hung up on, they got me connected to a rep in about 20 minutes who was able to see the exact issue on my claim (in my case I had accidentally indicated I was out of town one day). The rep lifted the hold right away and my payment processed the next day. Worth it when you need answers fast.

•Does this actually work? I've been trying to get through to DEO for like 2 weeks about my claim issues and can't get anyone on the phone.

•Yes it worked for me! The DEO agent told me that these smaller issues shouldn't even require full adjudication but they get auto-flagged by the system anyway. The agent was able to remove the hold while I was on the phone.

•Just checked my spam folder and don't see anything from ID.me. I did that verification months ago when I first filed my claim. So frustrating!

Based on your 'pending resolution of issue' status and the fact you mentioned changing your availability answer, that's almost certainly what triggered the hold. The good news is these simpler issues can often be resolved quickly if you can reach a DEO agent. They have the authority to clear straightforward holds like this without full adjudication. If you need to get it resolved quickly, calling at exactly 7:30am when they open often helps. Alternatively, sending a detailed message through your CONNECT portal specifically explaining that you were available for work except for a brief doctor's appointment (which doesn't actually make you unavailable by their standards) can help. The system is unfortunately very sensitive to any changes in your weekly answers.

•Thank you so much! I'll try calling at 7:30am tomorrow. If that doesn't work I might try that Claimyr service the other person mentioned. I really appreciate everyone's help - I was panicking this morning!

update: I just checked CONNECT again and mine shows 'pending resolution' too now. I swear it didn't say that earlier. This system is so glitchy

For everyone dealing with this issue, here's what usually happens with these holds: 1. Simple availability questions (like doctor appointments) typically get resolved in 3-8 days if you don't contact them 2. If you can reach an agent, they can often remove the hold same-day 3. When resolved, you'll receive all back payments at once 4. Your CONNECT inbox will receive a determination letter explaining the resolution If you do call, make sure to have your claimant ID ready and clearly explain that you were fully available for work despite the doctor appointment. Under Florida rules, routine appointments don't make you unavailable for work unless they would prevent you from accepting suitable employment.

•I finally got through to a DEO agent this morning! She confirmed exactly what you said - the single answer about my doctor appointment triggered an automatic hold. She said since it was a 2-hour appointment and didn't affect my ability to accept work, she removed the hold and my payment should process within 48 hours. Thank you everyone for your help!
