Missing $600 federal payments on my DEO claim - only received regular FL unemployment
So frustrated right now! I completed my claim weeks for August 3-9 and August 10-16 last Friday (August 21) and checked my account this morning to find that only my regular FL unemployment benefit of $275 was deposited yesterday. The additional $900 federal supplement hasn't shown up at all! This is the first time I've had this issue - all my previous payments since June came together without problems. Has anyone else experienced this delay with just the federal portion recently? Not sure if I should expect one week's supplement ($900) or both weeks ($1800) at this point? My CONNECT account shows both weeks as 'paid' but there's no separate entry for the federal money. Starting to worry...

•That's somewhat reassuring. Did your CONNECT account show anything different or did the money just appear in your account?

The same exact thing happened to me with my August payments. The $275 regular unemployment came through on time, but the federal supplement was delayed by almost 5 days. According to the DEO representative I finally reached, there's a separate payment processing system for the federal supplements, and they've been experiencing delays due to system maintenance. As long as your claim weeks show 'paid' in CONNECT, you should receive both weeks' worth of federal supplements ($1800) - they just might arrive separately from your regular benefits. One thing to note - when I finally got my federal payment, it came as a single lump sum for both weeks, not as two separate payments.

•Thank you so much for this detailed information! That makes me feel better. I'll keep an eye out for the lump sum payment then. Did they give you any timeline for how long the delay typically is?

•They told me it could take up to 5-7 business days from when your regular payment is processed, but mine came on day 5. The representative mentioned that once the maintenance is complete, they expect to return to the usual synchronized payment schedule.

THIS IS HAPPENING TO EVERYONE!!! I'm in the same boat and so are at least 6 other people I know!!! DEO is ALWAYS messing something up with our money! My landlord doesn't care about their "system maintenance" - he wants his rent!!! Has anyone actually gotten through to a REAL PERSON on the phone to explain what's going on??

I experienced this exact issue last week. After trying the regular DEO number for days with no luck (constant busy signals and disconnects), I found a service called Claimyr that got me connected to a live agent in about 40 minutes. The agent confirmed there's a processing delay with the federal supplements, but assured me the money was coming. Sure enough, my $1800 showed up as a single deposit 4 days after my regular benefits. If you need to speak with someone directly about your specific case, check out claimyr.com - they have a video demo showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj. Completely solved my callback frustrations after a week of trying on my own.

This delay is definitely related to the system maintenance they've been doing. I'm an accounting assistant at a hotel and we've had several employees reporting the same issue. The important thing to know is that as long as your weeks show 'paid' in CONNECT, the federal money is approved and will be coming. The DEO processes regular state benefits and federal supplements through two different payment systems. When they do maintenance or updates on the federal side, it causes these delays. In my experience helping our staff navigate this, the supplements almost always arrive 3-7 business days after the regular payment. You should receive both weeks' worth of federal payments ($1800 total) since both weeks show as 'paid.' Most likely it will arrive as a single deposit rather than two separate ones.

•Thank you for this explanation! It's day 3 now and still nothing, but I'll try to be patient for a few more days before panicking.

wait I'm confused... i thought the $600 federal payments ended in July? isn't it $300 now? or am i missing something here?

•You're right about the change, but the original poster is likely referring to the current $900 weekly supplement (which works out to $1800 for two weeks). The federal supplement amount has changed a few times, which causes a lot of confusion. The important thing is that whatever amount they're eligible for during their claimed weeks should eventually arrive, just with this temporary delay.

UPDATE: Just wanted to let everyone know my federal supplement payment of $1800 just hit my account this morning (Day 6 after regular payment)! Just as many of you predicted, it came as a single lump sum for both weeks. Thank you all for your help and reassurance!
