DEO Federal payments delayed - June 2025 bi-weekly deposit missing
Has anyone's federal unemployment supplement payment NOT shown up today? I was expecting $1500 to hit my account this morning (June 23rd) but nothing so far. My last bi-weekly payment came through fine on June 9th and I've been getting the regular $350 state payments without issues. The DEO website shows 'processed' but my bank account shows nothing. This is so frustrating and unpredictable! Are they having some kind of system delay? Anyone else in the same boat with missing federal payments today?

Yes!!! Mine's missing too and I'm freaking out because my rent is due on the 1st. Called DEO about 30 times today but kept getting disconnected. The CONNECT system shows payment was processed yesterday but nothing in my account. This is giving me major anxiety because last time this happened, I had to wait 3 weeks for them to fix it.

•Omg that's exactly what mine shows too! 'Processed' but nothing in the bank. Did you have any luck getting through to anyone? I've tried calling all morning with no success.

•Easy for you to say "chill" when some of us have bills that are due! Not everyone has a cushion to fall back on when DEO messes up!

It's likely due to the quarterly system maintenance that DEO announced last week. Federal supplement payments can be delayed by 24-72 hours during these periods. The regular state RA payments usually aren't affected, but the federal supplements often are. What you're describing is normal during maintenance windows. Check your Way2Go card or direct deposit tomorrow morning - most payments delayed during maintenance periods show up within 48 hours. If it doesn't arrive by Thursday, then you should contact DEO to make sure there isn't a pending issue or adjudication on your claim. Sometimes payments get held up if there's a new fact-finding questionnaire you need to complete or if there's an employment verification pending.

•Thank you for this info! I completely missed any announcement about maintenance. Have they given any official timeline for when the payments should be fully processed? I checked my CONNECT inbox and don't see any pending questionnaires or fact-findings.

I had the EXACT same issue this morning! My regular $350 was there but not the federal $1500. Called DEO and of course couldn't get through. After trying for 3 hours I gave up and tried Claimyr (claimyr.com) and they got me connected to a DEO agent in about 20 minutes. The agent told me there was a processing delay with the federal supplement batch and it should appear in accounts within 48 hours. She noted my account to make sure it goes through. Here's a video showing how the service works if anyone needs to actually reach a human at DEO: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj

•Thanks for the tip! Was the service easy to use? I might try it tomorrow if my payment still hasn't shown up. At least knowing there's a batch delay makes me feel a little better that it's not just my account having issues.

Mine came through fine this morning, but I'm on direct deposit not the Way2Go card. Maybe check if it's specific to your payment method?

The timing of federal supplement payments has been inconsistent since they reinstated the program in January. I've noticed a pattern where payments tend to be delayed at the end of each quarter (March, June, September, December). The DEO is probably reconciling their books before the new quarter starts. A few important points based on my experience: 1. Check if your claim still shows "Active" in CONNECT 2. Verify there are no pending fact-finding requests 3. Confirm your work search requirements (5 per week) are properly documented 4. Look for any notification about quarterly wage verification If everything looks good, it's most likely just the quarterly processing delay and should resolve by Friday. If it goes beyond that, definitely call DEO directly. You can also check with your bank to make sure they don't have a hold on the deposit.

•Thanks for this detailed info! Just checked and my claim is still active with no pending issues. And I've definitely been uploading my 5 work searches each week. This is really helpful to know about the quarterly pattern - makes me slightly less panicked!

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I HATE THE DEO!!!!!! They NEVER communicate anything properly! If they're doing maintenance, they should TELL PEOPLE before our payments don't show up. Some of us have bills automatically set up based on when these deposits usually arrive. The system is BROKEN and they don't care at all about claimants. I've been on unemployment for 4 months and every single time there's some new problem. Last month they randomly put me into adjudication for 3 weeks with ZERO explanation.

•They actually did announce the maintenance in the CONNECT system about a week ago, but it was only visible when you logged in and many people might have missed it. I agree they should send email or text notifications for these things since they directly impact payments.

UPDATE: My payment just hit my account about 10 minutes ago! Looks like it was just delayed by about 14 hours. Check your accounts everyone!

•Just checked and mine came through too! What a relief! Still annoying they don't warn us about these delays though.
