The weirdest thing just happened with my weekly certification. I went to log in like I always do but the captcha that's normally next to the login fields is completely gone. When I try to enter my username and password and click login anyway, it gives me an error saying I didn't complete the captcha. But there literally is no captcha showing up on my screen for me to complete! I've tried refreshing the page like 20 times, cleared my cache, tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, even Edge), and even tried on my phone instead of my computer. Same issue everywhere - no captcha appears but it demands I complete one. Anyone else experiencing this or know what's going on? I need to certify this week and I'm freaking out because I can't even get into the system.

I've been going in circles for 2 days trying to verify my identity for my unemployment claim. Got laid off in September due to budget cuts and finally applied last week. Everything was going fine until I reached the ID.me verification step. Created my account, got to the security questions part, but I can't for the life of me find where to actually scan my driver's license. I keep getting sent back to the same dashboard page! Clicked every possible link and button but there's no option to upload or scan ID documents. The verification status just says "incomplete" but gives no instructions on how to actually complete it. Anyone else get stuck at this point? I've tried on my laptop, phone, different browsers... nothing works. My benefits are on hold until this verification goes through and I'm getting desperate. Called the help number but just get recordings. How do you actually get to the scanning part??

Just completed my weekly certification this past Sunday like I always do. Usually after I certify, my account shows 'processing' for a few days until the payment goes through. But I logged in today (Wednesday) to check on things and suddenly it's showing 'enter for benefits' again, like I never certified at all! I double-checked my confirmation number from Sunday and definitely completed everything correctly. This has never happened in the 4 months I've been on unemployment. Tried calling the helpline but couldn't get through to anyone after waiting 45 minutes. Anyone else experiencing this? Does this mean I need to certify again or would that mess things up even more? Really need this payment to come through for rent next week.

Last week I checked my tax transcript on the IRS website to make sure everything was good with my return. I noticed there's something called a "credit to account" for about $1,160 that seems related to unemployment taxes I paid. This showed up from November, but I can't find any kind of actual balance or account where this money might be. The IRS website is so confusing and there's no clear explanation of what "account" they're even talking about. I've never seen this money - is it supposed to be refunded to me? Does it go toward future taxes? I tried calling the IRS but after waiting for 2 hours I got disconnected.
