check ur payment history and see what it says for "type" on the last payment. if it says UI, then u used up regular benefits. If it says PEUC, then something else is wrong
They're supposed to do that automatically but with NY unemployment nothing is actually automatic 🙄
The benefit amount increase is actually good news! I had something similar happen last year - got a random increase of about $2000. Turns out they did a review of my wages and found additional earnings they hadn't counted before. You'll probably get more weekly benefits going forward too!
has anyone figured out whats going on???? same thing happened to me and i need this money for rent asap ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Based on what people are saying, it seems like a system glitch affecting multiple people. The other half of your payment should come through in a few days. If you need to talk to someone ASAP, try claimyr.com - it's the only way I've been able to reach a human at unemployment lately.
thank u!! gonna try that now cause I cant wait days when rents due tomorrow
Dealing with ny unemployment is like trying to nail jello to a wall while blindfolded. And both your hands are tied behind your back. And the jello is on fire.
and someone keeps moving the wall
and the floor is also jello
just watched my payment history disappear a payment too! I swear I'm not crazy. Last Thursday it was there and now it's gone. This system is so broken. Has anyone been able to get this resolved??
my friend had the same thing and said claimyr.com got her through to a rep who fixed it in one call
As a temporary solution, ask a friend if you can use their computer to check your account status online. Sometimes the error is device-specific. And clear your cookies/cache before trying.
Everyone saying call at certain times or try different methods... y'all killing me 😂 We all know NY unemployment phone lines are IMPOSSIBLE regardless when you call. I finally got through using claimyr.com after trying for weeks on my own. talking to an agent got my $ unlocked so fast after two months of nothing. saved my apartment fr

•I've emailed like 5 times over the past month about a different issue and never got a response. calling is your only real option unfortunately

•Emailing is useless, tried it multiple times. You need to call or use a service like claimyr.com to reach an actual person

Check the news! Just saw on channel 4 that there's a technical glitch with the $300 payments affecting multiple states. NY labor department said all payments should be processed by end of week. No need to call or do anything.
