NY unemployment ID.me verification won't let me upload my documents

Yeah the ID.me system is absolute garbage. I had the exact same issue in october. Try using the ID.me app instead of the website - that worked for me after like 5 failed attempts on my computer.

Have you checked your file sizes? ID.me has weird restrictions on how big your photos can be. Try resizing them to under 5MB each - worked for me after hours of frustration.

If all else fails, you can request a video call verification But honestly, the fastest solution is getting a real person on the phone. Check ur phone storage. Had the same issue and turns out my phone was too full to save the pics properly! 🤦‍♂️ Deleted some stuff and suddenly it worked.

Pro tip: Id.me works better if you use a desktop/laptop computer (not mobile) and use Microsoft edge browser (weird but true). Also make sure your wifi connection is strong.

Something similar happened to me when I tried to upload my stuff to id.me. problem was my documents were too high quality lol. try taking lower resolution pictures of your docs, around 1-2MB instead of 10+MB files.

Have you tried using a different device entirely? My laptop wouldn't work but my girlfriends iPad did the trick for some reason.
