If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

bruh the whole system is designed to confuse us. BYE dates, effective days, waiting weeks... its all bureaucratic BS to make it harder to get benefits. don't count on those weeks being there if they end the program.

Has anyone been able to talk to a human at DOL recently? I have the same question and have been trying to get through for WEEKS with no luck. Just busy signals or the automated system that doesn't help at all.

I got through last week using claimyr.com - they call for you and connect when someone picks up. Only way I've been able to talk to anyone since this whole mess started.

I actually used it last month when my account got locked. It worked but I was already on my last nerve with the whole system by then

Have you tried using a different device entirely? My laptop wouldn't work but my girlfriends iPad did the trick for some reason.

Suspicious text claiming NY unemployment refund links to fake IRS page offering $815.05 "Economic Impact Payment" - scam?

I just got a weird text message saying I'm eligible for a $938.43 payment from the NY unemployment department. I clicked the link (probably shouldn't have) and it took me to what seems like an IRS page about "Economic Impact Payments Status Available" dated Aug 11, 05:42:41 pm. The page says "IRS.gov" at the top and has "Third Round of Economic Impact Payments Status Available" as the headline. It claims that "After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a payment of $815.05." It also states: "Each week we're sending the third payments to eligible individuals as we continue to process tax returns. Payments are sent by direct deposit or mail as a check or debit card." There's a button that says "Claim my payment" and then some threatening language: "Note For security reasons, we will record your ip-address, the date and time. Deliberate wrong inputs are criminally pursued and indicated" The message is signed "Sincerely, Internal Revenue Service" There's also some fine print: "The IRS is working with federal agencies to get updated information for recipients to ensure we are sending automatic payments to as many people as possible More information about when these payments will be made is provided in the news release issued on March 30. 2021" What's weird is that the initial text said NY unemployment, but this seems to be about IRS stimulus payments? And I haven't even filed for unemployment recently! The threatening language about tracking my IP and criminal pursuit for "wrong inputs" seems super sketchy. Has anyone else gotten something like this? I'm pretty sure it's a scam but wanted to check here first before I completely ignore it.

if yall ever get a text like this, the best thing to do is report it as spam/phishing to your carrier. just forward the entire message to 7726 (SPAM) and they'll add it to their database of known scams. helps protect people who might be more vulnerable.

I had a legitimate issue with my ny unemployment and I couldn't get anyone on the phone for WEEKS. Eventually tried this service called claimyr.com that got me connected to a real agent in about 40 minutes. Talking to a human solved my problem in one call after 3 weeks of getting nowhere. So worth it.

This sounds like an ad lol. Does it actually work?

lol I promise I don't work for them, just a desperate person who couldn't get through on my own. It actually does work - they just handle the phone maze and hold times, then call you when a live agent picks up. Saved me literally days of my life.

I was confused about this too so I used Claimyr.com to reach an agent (after days of failed calls). It's the week ending October 2nd, and you certify on the 3rd. It was the only way I could talk to a live agent and worth every penny to finally get a straight answer.

Every time I read a thread like this I'm reminded how BROKEN the ny unemployment system truly is. Other states have clear communication but here we have to play detective just to find out basic info 🤮

PREACH. My sister in ohio got a clear letter with all the end dates explained. Meanwhile NY sends cryptic messages and has a website from 2005.

it's actually designed to be confusing. they make it hard on purpose so people give up claiming what they're entitled to
