Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Check the news! Just saw on channel 4 that there's a technical glitch with the $300 payments affecting multiple states. NY labor department said all payments should be processed by end of week. No need to call or do anything.

The benefit amount increase is actually good news! I had something similar happen last year - got a random increase of about $2000. Turns out they did a review of my wages and found additional earnings they hadn't counted before. You'll probably get more weekly benefits going forward too!

Based on what people are saying, it seems like a system glitch affecting multiple people. The other half of your payment should come through in a few days. If you need to talk to someone ASAP, try claimyr.com - it's the only way I've been able to reach a human at unemployment lately.

just watched my payment history disappear a payment too! I swear I'm not crazy. Last Thursday it was there and now it's gone. This system is so broken. Has anyone been able to get this resolved??

I'm assuming you're talking about claimyr? If so, yes it works. My claim was stuck for 6 weeks, used their service, got through to an agent who fixed everything in one call.

I feel your pain! The system is designed to make you give up. After trying everything, what worked for me was using claimyr.com to get through to an agent. It's basically a service that does the calling/waiting for you. They call when they get a human on the line. Talking to a real person fixed my issues that had been pending for over a month.
OP this is what I did too after weeks of frustration. It works! You'll talk directly to an unemployment agent who can fix your issues.
