Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Does anyone else feel like the Sept 4 cutoff is coming way too soon? With Delta variant spreading I don't understand why they're ending all the programs. I'm seeing that message too btw, but still got paid.
Write to your representatives and senators! If enough people complain they might extend it again. Worth a shot at least.
i heard they're definitely not extending it this time. talking to an unemployment rep last week, she said they're already preparing for the shutdown of all federal programs.

Wondering if I'll get one of these too. I was on unemployment from March-September 2020 and filed taxes in February 2021. Nothing in my account yet. Anyone know if they're still sending these out?
Yep they're still processing them. I just got mine last week and my coworker got his yesterday. They're super behind.
check ur tax transcript on the irs site. it will tell u if they've processed urs yet

Check if this is connected to the recent tax adjustment thing. I know they've been adjusting unemployment tax withholdings for some people. Maybe this was related to that but processed incorrectly?
I hadn't thought of that! I did file taxes in March so maybe it's connected somehow
If all else fails, try the phone service claimyr to get through to unemployment. Then refuse to hang up until they transfer you to a supervisor who can actually help. Regular agents just read from scripts and can't fix unusual problems like this.

Check your payment history. Each payment deducts from ur total benefit amount. When I added mine up + the administrative fees they take out, it matched exactly when my claim exhausted. It's just basic math but NY unemployment never explains it clearly to anyone 🙄
