Email still not verified after post office ID check - HELP!

Hey everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my account. I went to the post office to verify my identity, but when I try to log in, it still says my email isn't verified. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any ideas on what I should do next?

Ugh, that sucks! I had a similar problem last month. Have you tried contacting their support team? Sometimes they need to manually update your account status after in-person verification.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've been trying to reach them, but the phone lines are always busy. It's so frustrating 😤

Pro tip: call right when they open in the morning. That's how I finally got through!

Good idea, I'll give that a shot tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🤞

This system is such a joke. I swear they make it difficult on purpose to discourage people from claiming benefits. 🤡

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/0vCca6U3R8Y

Sounds sketchy. Is this legit?

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Wait, we have to PAY to talk to someone now? This country is going downhill fast 😑

@profile 8 I get it, but think about how much your time is worth. For me, not sitting on hold for hours was worth the $20

Here's what worked for me: 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies 2. Use a different browser 3. Try logging in from a different device If none of that works, you might need to request a new verification email. There should be an option for that on the login page. Hope this helps!

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the verification emails end up there.

Yeah, I've checked everywhere. No luck 😕

This happened to me too! Turns out there was a glitch in their system that wasn't syncing the in-person verification with online accounts. I had to go back to the post office and ask them to resend the verification. It's a pain, but it might be worth a shot.

Oof, really? That's such a hassle. But if it works, I guess I'll have to do it. Thanks for the tip!

I went through this exact same nightmare a few weeks ago! After the post office verification, it took almost 5 business days for my account to actually update in their system. Super frustrating when you need access right away. If it's been longer than that, definitely try the early morning call strategy that others mentioned - I finally got through around 8:05 AM and they were able to manually sync my account. Hang in there! 💪
