NYDOL online identity verification not working - stuck in limbo. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble verifying my identity for my unemployment claim online. The system won't let me complete all the steps. Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm not sure if it's a problem with uploading documents or receiving verification codes. Any advice would be appreciated!

The online verification system is a joke tbh. I spent hours trying to get it to work before I finally gave up and called. Good luck getting through tho, the wait times are insane.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/fU4YuziZLxI

idk if this helps but i had issues verifying my identity online and ended up having to go to the unemployment office in person. it sucked waiting in line but at least i got it sorted
