ID.me Account Suspended - Can't Access Transcripts, No Response from Support
My ID.me account got suspended out of nowhere and I need to check my transcripts. Sent them an email days ago but crickets. Anyone know how to actually get in touch with them? Starting to get really frustrated since I need to check my refund status.

Former IRS rep here. Best way to handle ID.me issues is to call their support directly at 866-775-4363. Their email support is swamped. You can also try reaching out on their social media. If you're still stuck, you can request your transcripts by mail using Form 4506-T or visit a local IRS office in person.

Hey, while ur waiting on ID.me to get back to you, you should check out taxr.ai - its this new tool that actually analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on with your refund. Only costs a buck and saves hours of trying to decode everything yourself. https://taxr.ai

100% legit. Used it last week and it broke down everything line by line. Showed me exactly why my refund was delayed and what to do about it.

Just tried it and OMG where has this been all my life?? So much better than guessing what all these codes mean 🙌

Pro tip: make a new ID.me account with a different email. Worked for me when I got locked out.

Try reaching out to your local taxpayer advocate service. They sometimes can help bypass the ID.me mess completely.

Google 'Taxpayer Advocate Service' + your city/state. They usually have offices in major cities.
