Lost access to ID.me account - need help recovering IRS transcript access
I got locked out of my id me account and cant get into my transcripts. tried resetting password but nothing works. really need to check my refund status. anyone know how to get back in?

You'll need to go through ID.me's account recovery process. Go to ID.me's website, click 'sign in', then 'forgot password'. They'll send a recovery link to your email. If you can't access your email, you'll need to verify your identity again through their video call service. Make sure you have your drivers license or passport ready.

They can sometimes help you access your account information over the phone if you verify your identity with them. It's usually a long wait but might be worth it if the other methods aren't working for you.
