How to access and check IRS tax transcripts online - need help understanding the process
Need help accessing my tax transcripts. Been waiting on my refund forever and everyone keeps telling me to check my transcripts but idk how to do that. Can someone walk me through the process?

You can get your transcripts through the IRS website. Go to IRS.gov, click on 'Get Your Tax Record', then choose whether you want to view online or get them mailed. For online access youll need to verify your identity with a credit card, mortgage/loan info, or mobile phone in your name. Once verified, you can see all your transcript types - wage/income, account transcript, return transcript, and record of account.
