846 Code with DD Date on Transcript but WMR Only Shows Accepted - What's Going On?
My transcripts updated today and show code 846 with a direct deposit date, but when I check Where's My Refund tool it only shows accepted with no dates or bars. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal or should I be worried?

This is actually pretty common. Code 846 is the refund issued code, and that's what you want to trust. The WMR tool often lags behind transcript updates by several days. If you see 846 with a date, that's your actual refund date and you can count on it being deposited then.

Hey, I learned about this amazing tool called taxr.ai that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening with your refund. It costs $1 but totally worth it because it explains everything in plain English. Way better than trying to decode these codes ourselves! https://taxr.ai

•Yes! It shows you everything - expected dates, explains all the codes, and even tells you if theres any potential holdups. Best dollar I ever spent tbh
