151 Code on WMR but transcript shows DD date 4/5 - Will I still get my refund?
My transcripts are showing a direct deposit date of 4/5 but when I check Where's My Refund tool I'm getting a 151 reference code. Getting mixed signals here. Anyone know if I'll still get my refund on the date shown in my transcript?

The 151 code typically means the IRS is reviewing your return. However, if you have a direct deposit date on your transcript, that usually takes precedence over WMR status. The transcript is the most accurate source of information. Keep checking your bank account around that date.

The IRS systems dont always sync up. Transcripts are updated directly from the IRS database while WMR updates can lag behind by days or even weeks sometimes.
