WMR shows 2/17 deposit date but no 846 code on transcript - what's going on?
I checked where's my refund tool and it shows a deposit date of February 17th, but when I look at my transcript on the IRS website there's no 846 code anywhere. Has anyone experienced this? Im starting to get worried since these tools are showing different things.

The 846 code is the official refund issued code. If you don't see it on your transcript yet, the WMR tool might be showing preliminary info. Keep checking your transcript daily - that's the most accurate source. The WMR tool sometimes updates before the actual processing is complete.

Bruh just wait a couple days. WMR and transcripts update on different schedules. Its annoying af but thats how it works
